Patrick Bryan


Patrick Bryan is aluminum product engineering manager at Andritz Metals Inc., Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, USA. He has 40 years of engineering experience, and he has spent the past 22 years with Andritz Metals Inc. (formerly Bricmont) as a project engineer, project manager, and aluminum product engineering manager. He has designed and built over 65 aluminum melting and holding furnaces including 110 MT round top melters, 120 MT tilting holding furnaces, and 30,000 lbs stack melters. These furnaces supported batch ingot casting and round billet casting both batch and continuous. He has done projects in the USA, Canada, China, and India. Over the years, his career has encompassed hydraulic equipment design, Navy Nuclear Reactor Servicing Equipment and support, and engineering in the steel, power, and chemical industries. He is a graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University who holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering. He also holds one patent for a furnace roller assembly.
